At Memento, we believe that every memory and every artistic vision deserves to be transformed into something lasting and unique. Our goal is to create drops that not only carry the identity of the artist but also give their audience a chance to connect with them in a deeper and more personal way.
When we begin a collaboration, the process is clear and transparent from start to finish.
We start by reaching out with an idea for a potential drop. If you already have a concept, memory, or visual idea you wish to explore, we will build the process around that. Otherwise, we will present creative directions and possibilities for inspiration.
Once the interest is confirmed, we schedule a meeting with you (or your representative) where we present the idea in detail, explain the full process, and answer any questions. Alongside the meeting, you will also receive a written overview with all relevant information about how Memento works, the purpose of our drops, and the opportunities this collaboration brings.
After the meeting, our design team begins shaping the first version of both the artwork and the drop’s digital layer. If you already have a design in mind, we will work directly from that. Together, we refine the visual expression until it reflects your artistic identity. At the same time, we review the content behind the QR code – whether it is a hidden message, a piece of music, a video, or something else you want your fans to experience. This is where your personal touch is added, making the drop more than just an image, but a living memory.
When both the artwork and the QR content are approved, we formalize the collaboration with a contract. This contract includes all details regarding rights, revenue share, timelines, and expectations from both sides. Once signed, the collaboration is officially underway.
From there, we move into launch preparation. Together with you, we coordinate the communication, marketing, and release strategy to ensure the drop receives the attention it deserves. Our team sets up your dedicated drop page, making sure the story, the artwork, and the digital layer are presented in a clear and captivating way.
When the drop is launched, it becomes available in a limited quantity and for a limited time. Each drop is unique and will never be recreated. If the artwork sells out, or if the release period (normally one month) comes to an end, the drop is closed. Revenue is then transferred directly to you as agreed in the contract. If a drop does not sell out within the time limit, it is respectfully taken down to preserve its exclusivity and integrity.
In this way, every collaboration with Memento ensures that the artwork remains rare, personal, and meaningful – for you as the artist, and for the audience who will treasure it.
